GRP Panel tanks, which are also known as Fiberglass Reinforced Water Tank, are a modular/sectional water tank solution that lets us get water tanks in any desired size. There are two types of panels available in the market, known as  Cold Press and Hot Press.

The cold press panels are primarily made out of Chopped strand mat/fiber, resin, roving mats, and gelcoat. Materials are placed in layers of mold by human hand and pressed together to produce the panels. Then these panels are cut and holed, ready to be delivered.

Panel tanks come in heights of 1m to 4m. There are some basic panel sizes, and panels are assembled depending on the tank size. Additionally, there are also two variations.

  1. Cold Press Insulated Panel.
  2. Cold Press Non-insulated Panels.

Insulated panels have an additional layer of foam enclosed by the panel and fiber skin. This helps keep the water temperature constant. On the other hand, stored water in cold press panel tanks without proper shades may turn too hot or too cold depending on the weather.

Panel tanks have some basic sizes of panels, which are joined together to get the desired size. These tanks are very easy to install, and common sizes mostly take less than a day to complete. Additionally, these tanks are also easily maintainable. In case of failing panels because of long use, GRP Repair is still an option if the condition allows.
